Teaching and Workshops

As Fine Art lecturer I teach on the BA Hons Painting, Drawing & Printmaking course at Carmarthen School of Art, West Wales.  I have also lectured Fine Art Painting, Drawing and Digital & Lens Based Media at Bradford College, University of Salford, UWIC and University of Plymouth.  I have run various workshops alongside my painting practice in fresco and natural painting processes since 2011, and also tutor privately for fine art portfolio development for pre-foundation and degree students

Recent workshops ‘Painting with Nature’ and ‘Drawing with Nature’ have been at Craft in the Bay, Cardiff, exploring the use of raw pigments, natural chalk gesso, egg tempera and natural inks, relating to Ancient Palette, Precious Earth, and to Nature’s materials that can be harvested, found, or re-purposed
